FAQ
What is temporary staffing and how does it work at Seasons?
Temporary staffing with Seasons means that you are employed by Seasons, but you work at the client’s company according to their needs. We handle employment management, including payroll, time tracking, employment contracts, and other employer obligations. As an employee, you are part of the client’s team, but Seasons’ staff will support you throughout your employment.
How can I get a job through Seasons?
Follow our open job positions on our website and social media, and submit an application. We are constantly looking for new talent for various roles across different industries. If you want to offer your skills and join our team, submit an open application – we often have opportunities that may be just right for you!
How do I log into the Seasons system as an employee?
Before you start your job, we will send you a Seasonsnet username (firstname.lastname) and password via email, which you can use to log into the system.
In the system, you can:
- Make time entries
- Review your employment contract
- Get more information about your job duties
- Receive important updates and notices
How do the employment contract and induction work?
We will create a written employment contract with you as soon as your employment begins. The contract is based on the client’s collective bargaining agreement and is signed electronically. After signing, the contract is available for review in Seasonsnet. The client takes care of the job content and induction, but Seasons will assist you in managing the employment relationship and offer support if needed.
How does payroll work?
Your salary will be paid twice a month: on the 15th day and on the last working day of the month. Pay periods are from the 1st to the 15th and from the 16th to the last day of the month. For example, hours worked from the 1st to the 15th will be paid on the last working day of the month.
- Your payroll statement can be found in Seasonsnet, under “Salaries.”
- You’ll also receive a notification by email when your new payroll statement is available.
- Make sure to send us your tax card and bank details well in advance of the first payroll (palkanlaskenta@seasons.fi).
How do I log my worked hours?
Logged working hours are entered into Seasonsnet under the “calendar” section.
- Be sure to verify that: Your work tasks and the client company are correctly marked
- If the lunch break is unpaid (this varies by sector), it must be noted
- If you have a time card, your hours will be automatically logged (you can check them in the system)
How do I report sick leave?
If you become ill, notify Seasons and your supervisor at the client company immediately by phone. In case of illness, a Seasons representative can grant 1-3 days of self-certified sick leave, or you can provide a doctor’s certificate. Sick pay is calculated based on the estimated hours.

After 3 months of continuous work, our employees are entitled to extended occupational health care beyond the legal minimum, provided by Terveystalo. You can independently schedule an appointment at any Terveystalo location.
What should I do if I have a work-related accident?
In the event of a work-related accident, seek medical care first, and then contact us either by calling 040 162 0570 or emailing palkanlaskenta@seasons.fi. After the notification, we will send you a survey regarding the work accident, and based on your responses, we will forward the case to the insurance company.
How do I report vacations and absences?
If you need to take any absences, agree on them in advance with your supervisor at the client company. Once approved, inform us by sending an email to palkanlaskenta@seasons.fi. If you accumulate vacation or working time reductions (such as “pekkaset”) during your employment, the use of them will be agreed upon directly with your supervisor.
What should I do when my employment ends?
If your employment ends, always notify us by email at palkanlaskenta@seasons.fi and request your employment certificate. Be sure to ask if you would like an assessment to be included in the certificate. After the employment ends, you must return any work shoes or other workwear provided by our office. Keys, clothes, and equipment received from the client company should be returned directly to them. Final salary and any unused vacation will be paid on the next payroll date after the end of your employment.
